Our Story

History of Portasana

  1. 2016: Wellola was founded in Ireland to build a secure healthcare communication platform to deliver on its vision.
  2. Customers: Wellola began servicing GPs, allied healthcare providers, and care homes in Ireland and the UK.
  3. Ambition: Wellola continues to expand with the view to becoming Europe’s most accessible patient platform.
  4. Investment: Wellola was identified as a high-potential company and invested in by Enterprise Ireland to scale globally.
  5. Growth: Wellola established its UK base at the Nexus Leeds, serving large-scale customers such as acute and community NHS Trusts.
